Description
The Metroplex. Ground zero for slamming, skanking and stage diving in the 80’s. Built of concrete, cinderblock, chicken wire, sweat and blood, the Plex makes the Masquerade look like a daycare. The Metroplex effectively died during the Democratic convention in Atlanta when it attempted to bring in Abbie Hoffman for an anti-political event only for the local government to shut down access to the place.
This logo inspired from the header on its old ads in Creative Loafing Atlanta.
