Somber Reptile. Where the stage was small, the ceilings were low, and the air conditioning was more of a rumor than anything. A dive with heart, a cave with a PA, and a place where half of Atlanta’s alternative bands cut their teeth. It wasn’t as unhinged as the Plex, but it had its own charm – the kind you only appreciate when you’re pressed up against 200 other people wondering if the building is supposed to shake like that.
