About

This is just a simple site/store created by a Gen X Atlantan nostalgic for the past. I started making these shirts for myself. Then an old acquaintance reached out on social media and said “Hey, where’d you get that Metroplex shirt you’re wearing in that picture someone posted of you?” so I sent him one. I realized that there are probably other old nostalgic Gen X Atlantans out there who also miss long gone, “you had to be there” haunts of Atlanta and its surroundings.

Yes, the site is sparse. It’s simple. But it’s real. These shirts aren’t a scam. I just haven’t put a lot of energy into this because I mostly make these things for me. I mean, how many people remember Gwinnett’s Eat More Records anyway? I reinvented that old shirt because I once had the original, because I was that teenage punk perusing the aisles, annoying Craig and Cliff with my terrible, wonderful taste in music. Speaking of, if anyone has an image of the other Eat More shirt – the one with a fork and knife placed around a record as if it were a plate – please send it to me. I only vaguely remember it, despite having owned it, and would love to recreate it as well.

Anyway, if you got here it’s likely because you too are an old ATL head. Welcome. We didn’t know how good those years were, did we.
